As part of BLK’s Pride Month 2025 campaign, "Solidarity is for the Homies", we call on Black men to sign this pledge to honor the unbreakable spirit of Black brotherhood and stand in allyship with queer Black men. Rooted in our shared culture of resilience, community, and love, this pledge challenges the division and stereotypes that too often separate us, especially in digital spaces where queer Black men face exclusion and derogatory rhetoric. By signing, you commit to building a stronger, more inclusive Black community within the BLK app and beyond.

Solidarity Pledge

I pledge to:

• Stand in solidarity with my queer Black brothers, embracing their identities as vital to our shared Black culture.

• Challenge harmful stereotypes, microaggressions, and derogatory comments—online and in person—that undermine queer Black men’s dignity.

• Build authentic, platonic friendships grounded in mutual respect, love, and the strength of Black brotherhood.

• Confront assumptions about masculinity that divide us, celebrating the diversity of what it means to be a Black man.

• Make the BLK app a safe, welcoming space where all Black men can connect, thrive, and be their true selves.
